AX 7 can we have more than one extensions file for same element in AX 7 in same model/package ?

In some scenarios  two developers are working on same model and package  each developer create extension file for same element such as CustTable Form is that allowed  both files will built/emerged ?

    Yes it will work - that is exactly what it was meant to do, but PLEASE do not keep the default .extension, .extension2, etc. Give it your own unique name. Like you do with prefixing standard objects, give your own extension to extensions.

    Otherwise you WILL run into problems with duplicate names.

    Also, create a naming convention so if you're working on the same team you re-use the extension objects - don't have every developer create a new extension on the same object. Code readability and maintainability will become a nightmare if you don't.
