I have a custom activity entity in solution. For this custom entity I have defined and enabled status transitions. It is going right for installations except one installation. For installation that it is not working in, status transitions are disabled. I have asked customer to enable status transitions but he couldn't do so.

He says that he is able to enable status transitions. But after saving it when he closes form and opens again then he finds that "Enable Status Reason Transition" check box is unchecked.

He has installed managed solution (using AppSource). Status Code field is unmanaged of activity entity.

How can he enable status transitions?

Any Solution or help is highly appreciated.

Hi , Sharing SS of status transition form. Please let me know if you want something else.

Can be checked here.

Coming again back here displays it as disabled even after clicking ok and then "Save and Close" button.

I have created one custom entity and enabled status reason transtions, but I didn't encounter such a problem.

Have you tried to test it in other entities? Same error?

Maybe you can open ticket for Microsoft support for further help:

Hi

Did you ever find a solution for this? I am having the same problem. I have a third party ISV managed solution installed in Dynamics with a custom activity entity using Status Reason Tranisitions. I have three environments Dev/Test and Prod. In the Dev environment the Status Reason Transitions are enabled and working fine but I am unable to enable these in Test and Prod. It looks like I can enable them when I tick the box but if I Save and Close and go back in they are disabled again. Neither Microsoft or the vendor have been able to help....
