Elimination to Fixed Asset from Project will not pull in both beginning balance and current costs

Posted on by
We recently switched from a different system to Microsoft D365.   We are attempting to perform our first asset elimination.  When eliminating to the asset, the beginning balance and current costs will not pull into the same revenue recognition, thus not allowing us to eliminate all costs to the fixed asset.  When doing the revenue recognition, if we click the Update with beginning balance amount to Yes, it will not pull in the current costs.  If we leave the Update with beginning balance amount left unclicked in the No position, it won't pull in the beginning balance.  We have also tried to do 2 revenue recognitions to pull in both types of costs for the same elimination date and it gives an error of /Access denied to field Billing rule (ContractLineNum) in table Project - control current, temporary (TmpProjControlActual).  Is there a setting we are missing with this to allow both beginning balances and current costs to be eliminated?

Was there ever a resolution to this issue?  I have a user that is getting the same error when trying to eliminate a project estimate.
