Hi,
First post to this community but I have searched for anything similar and don't see it asked/answered anywhere.
I have at least 50 system views across 5 entities in CRM 2011. These views let me check for invalid data in records, missing data, data requiring follow-up and various other data issues. Most of the time most views return 0 records (which is the desired-for result) and require no input from me however actually confirming that this is the case requires tediously checking each view and I am expected to check these views every week or so to prevent the data issues building up.
It would be a LOT less manual checking these often non-existent records if I could design one "super record count report" that returns the total records concerned from each of these system views and therefore know which of the many views really require my attention.
I have only a basic login and no access to the SQL server (CRM server is off-site). I have already made use successfully of Power Query/Get and Transform via an OData connection for other analyses (but views can't be seen AFAIK in that query designer). I have report permission, publish report permission and reporting services permission on my account. I have downloaded XRM toolbox with FXB and SQL Server Tools VS 2012 with Fetch Xml capability installed and felt one of these should offer the solution to my problem but is SSRS what I should be even thinking of using or is there something else that would achieve this?
Any help with the flow of what I have to do to make a report like this would be really useful. One entity at a time is fine (i.e. 5 separate reports) but if it is possible to do all in one report that would be the most effective.
