So when currency fields are exported to excel it only shows the decimal places but it doesn't put the $ currency before it. Is there a way to fix this?

Yes
So basically it sounds like its part of the design and it just can't be done on export, is that correct?
Hi There,
$ symbol is not coming because it is not part of the value for e.g. Est. Revenue; you can only enter numbers in this field but it displays $200.00 where $ is a prefix, generated based on currency you have selected on the form
What best you can do is, add 'currency (transactioncurrencyid)' as a column in your view and then export, it will help you understand better.
