Is there is any supported way to add onkeypress event in CRM 2015.
I don't want to use document.getElementByid.
Any help is appreciated.
Thanks in Advance.

Hi Nausher, Just to let you know that Onpress key is a new feature in CRM 2016 SDK such as adding, removing, or performing a function methods to get immediate feedback or take action while a user types in a control
-addOnKeyPress,
-removeOnKeyPress,
-fireOnKeyPress
However in CRM 2015 you are limited, but you should Consider Using SparkleXRM
http://www.sparklexrm.com library developed by Scott Durrow to overcome the UI limitations, its very powerful and useful for scenarios like yours.
I hope this Answers your question, Kindly Verify
Best Wishes, Raz
Thanks Naz,
But i am sorry i didn't get help from http://www.sparklexrm.com .
You can use OnChange event. Why you are not using OnChange event associated with a field ?
Mansoor
No, i have to use Onkeypress event only.
HI Nausher, The sparklexrm is a powerfull framework so it may take you a whilst to learn. Maybe its a better option to use Onchange event in JS Webresource to perform your Validation?
