Form Control Component Object XML error

Posted on by 90

Good Day,

We have a requirement to add a Form Control to the Child entity. There is a lookup to the Account Table which has the employee information. The child table is "Fixed Compensation Event". I am getting a repeated error of "Object XML document" when saving the form control. Below are screenshots of steps followed and the XML based on Microsoft Docs. I believe I followed all the steps correctly. Any help would be appreciated. I can post the error details if necessary.

Best Regards, Sunny

I think you're right. Thanks for the idea. Let's see what Microsoft says

Then my recommendation - look for similarities between those forms that experience the issue you describe. Unfortunately, there is no easy way to figure out what exactly doesn't work the right way.

Alternatively, you can open a ticket with Microsoft.

Hey Andrew. Thank you for message.

There is no "File" type field. This is actually happening across my environment with different entities. I thought it was maybe the XML typo but I doubt it. Any ideas on troubleshooting the problem?

I've seen that once and it was caused by the field of "File" type that was placed on the form. Any chance your form has "File" type field placed on it?
