    Hi,

You have reached the maximum number of field limit for an entity. There is a limit in CRM for field creation in an entity. You need to review your design because it will slow down the performance as well

Mark answer as verified, if it works for you

I agree with Muhammad. If you're hitting the field limit, it's time to assess the design.

There is a maximum capacity of 1024 fields (database columns) and it is an SQL limitation not CRM:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../maximum-capacity-specifications-for-sql-server

If you did exceed 1000 fields then I agree with everyone's view that you need to look at enhancing your design. For example: You could look at extending the entity with other child entities.

If you found my answer helpful, please mark "yes" to confirm it helped.

I presume this is not a product bug but the real issue when number of fields exceed the maximum.

When there is an entity with so many fields meaning the CRM performance will be compromised, if not then very soon.

You might need to review your design by moving those fields into a separate entity or something for a long run. Big entity will cause you more problems and often hit into maintenance issue.

Yes  you have reached extend as others say  ..what you need to do next?

see how account and account extension

or opportunity and opportunity extension OOB works

try to  replicate similar  entity structure  and sub entity have tight bond between these entities by most using the relationship and prepopulate data and move 40 % of field from that entity to here  and good to go..

    Hi Chetan,

This is because you have exceeded the field limit for an entity.

    See the link below.
