Hi
I need to add an unsubscribe link to an SMS message in the same way I would appear in a marketing email - how do I provide the link to the subscription center with the ID?
I can get the subscription center, no problem, but where is the id generated each time?
ThanksLee
The ID is generated by background service and only available in marketing email.
In my opinion, it is not easy to extract the unique ID from system, you may need to ask supporter for technical details for custom extension.
Can i replace the unsubscribe ID with anything unique such as email address and do it manually?
I am afraid that it wouldn't work, because fields of subscription center get populated via the unique ID.
I didn't mention that I'm sending the SMS via a customer journey - is the unsubscribe still unavailable?
Thanks
Lee
Hi Lee,
Currently, this is not supported in Dynamics 365 Marketing. Feel free to post your idea on the Ideas site.
It doesn't sound possible to workaround due to unique links having to be changed into short URL's in SMS.
Thanks,
Defne
