Data entity is unable to export data

Hi All,

I have customised data entity but it is not exporting any data. There is nothing in OData too.

Data entity is building ok in VSTS.

I have added below to it to

1.  Added real unmapped fields to table

    Hi YOG,

    The last error it's just VS error, you can ignore it. Are you exporting the data from the correct company? Do you have any other tables joined to CustInvoiceTrans in the entity? When you used oData have you used cross-company parameter?

    Thanks for your reply Sergei,

    I had exactly similar data entity working but I deleted it and used same step to create new entity from scratch,.

    I can see my staging table has property 'Save data per company' set to yes.

    Hi YOG,

    For staging table this property should set to No.

    But when you used oData, have you used cross-company (example http://[baseURI\]/data/FleetCustomers?cross-company=true).

    You can also go to SQL Management studio and fine SQL view with entity name and check if it returns any data if now you can check what is wrong with SQL view to understand how to fix the issue.

    If you deleted the old entity and created a new one with the same you may need to delete the entity from entity list manually and refresh entity list after it to be sure if the old implementation does not interfere with the new one.

    Hi Sergei,

    Unfortnately, It did not work.

    I have tried cross company Odata link but no data appearing.

    Also, there is nothing into neither in SQL table nor in view.

    Anything else do you think can cause issue?

    Could you, please share code from SQL view? Looks like you have some joins or filters or you just don't have data to be export.

    Hi Sergei,

    I have tried creating data entity from scratch with new project.

    This time, I did not add  post load method and fields ( just to check if data entity is pulling data from CustInvoiceTrans table) but entity is still not picking any data.

    here are the steps I performed

    1. created a new project

    2. added data entity with data source 'CustInvoiceTrans'

    3. Build the project

    4. Checked Data in SQL (nothing there!)

    Could you, please provide screenshots for data entity data sources? Could you, please, also provide a screenshot of the SQL object you checked?

    I don't see sync. step in your list of steps you performed. Have you made synchronization as well?

    Other than custInvoicetrans which data source is there in your entity ? and what are all joins present between those ?
