Parameters in SSRS reports

ReportReport

Hi Guys,

I have created a report with RDP & Contract classes with ItemGroupId as a parameter. when I run the report in  visual studio the parameter  which is Itemgroup is not a drop down list but if I type the item group manually in the field, the report works fine. Can someone give me a sample simple report or the setup to be done to have it as a drop down list in case of Itemgroupid.

Thanks in Advance

    HI Ax beginner ,

If the look up is not coming because of relation then you can use UI builder lass and add customized look up to dialog field. Take a look at  below link for examples.

    Hi Sukrut,

    Thanks for FYI,

I created UI Builder class for this report but still the lookup doesn't work.. Is there any chance this to happen in Visual studio only ? unfortunately there is no report sever configured in my Test environment to test it. I have checked some  standard reports in VS and its same.

There won't be any lookup in visual studio. Please check it on UI

    Hi Alex.

I think you must use ItemGroup as a parameter in Contract Calss for show  drop down list.
