What is the Statement Name In Customer Cards

Hello,

I have a question regarding the statement name field in customer cards. I am looking to see how this is different from the regular customer name. Does this field affect reports and how can it be used?

I am also looking to see if it can be used to help with situations where there are multiple sub companies of a client. Where the customer name can be the sub company name, but the statement name can be the Client's main company that envelops all of it's sub companies. Thus showing all revenue is coming from this one client instead of multiple revenues of the same client in a report.

Thank you.

The Statement Name is the name you want to appear on the statement document itself. This field automatically defaults to the customer name, but if you need it to be different you can change it.

If a client has multiple "subcompanies" or subsidiaries you may be better off setting up National Accounts as this will the create consolidated statements.
