Adjusting the VAT on a Purchase Order when Invoicing

Hello,

Is there a way please of editing the VAT value when entering a vendor invoice against a Purchase Order?

You can do this when doing a purchase invoice, but we cannot see how to do this in a purchase order which is where we do most of our transactions from.

Thanks,

Amy

    Hi Amy

    I made a quick test in BC16.3

You need to specify a "Max VAT Difference" in General Ledger Setup and you need to enable "Allow VAT Difference" in Purchase & Payables Setup.

And then in the PO you go to

More Options / Navigate / Order / Statistics

There you drill down into the "No. of Tax Lines" and there you can then change the VAT Amount (within the range [+/-] you specified in General Ledger Setup)

    Hope this helps
