Hi can someone help me on this one. We did an inventory count and noticed that an item not counted has remained in the inventory as if it was counted.
Thank You

Andrew,
If you create a blank physical inventory and scan items to add to it, the only items updated will be those you scanned. If you want to zero out all items you don't scan, then you must create a physical inventory for ALL items. This is by design so if you only want to count a handful of items you don't mess with the rest.
Hi Ed maybe i did not explain this right. In inventory there was some items in my data that were showing that we had in store but were not in the store at all and these were left in inventory as if they had been counted instead of going to zero and the only way we found this error is because we put several items out of count to repair the plu tags and when we went to put them back in inventorywith transfer in they were showing in stock this troubles us because we don't know how many more were left in inventory and that were not in the store.
So the item was still on the Inventory Count Form. You could always delete the item off the form and then it wouldn't be counted, or marked counted. You can only do this before the count is committed. After that you would have to either adjust the inventory quantity of the item or perform a count only for that item.
