Bulk Create Connections via workflow

Hi all,

I have a scenario in which I'd like to bulk create Connection records using workflows, and I would appreciate any advice on how best to achieve this.

My scenario is as follows:

1. I have a Parent Entity A which has two "child" Entities B and C

2. When I create a new record in Child Entity C, I would like to create a connection from this record to each of the records under Child Entity B that share the same parent record in Entity A

Can anyone advise on the best way to achieve this?

In a custom workflow or plugin you need first need to retrieve the depended child and parent records.

Then you can use sample code linked in this thread to create connections between those entities:

You can write plugin for entity C

in this plugin first you get the records from entity B that have the same parent record and then create connection role between this entity record C and B entity records
