Create a record with ownerid mapped in relationship

Hello,

I've mapped the field ownerid on a N:1 relationship on my entity.

It works fine, it affects well the ownerid, owneridtype, owningbusinessunit. And in the PrincipalObjectAccess, there is no record.

But why if i don't map the ownerid and i just create a new record, a record is created in the PrincipalObjectAccess table, do you know why ?

Is-it permit to map the ownerid ?

    Hi,

    There can be quadrillion reasons for such behaviour, you have to be more specific:

    1) what is the behaviour of this relationship  - Parental/Referental/Cascading?

    2) how are you creating the related record? From parent record or somehow independently?

    3) what says this POA record? For which object it was created, with what AccessRightMask, InheritedAccessRight, what is the PrincipalId?

    Maybe provide some screenshots to make it easier to understand what you are doing

    HI ,

    Mapping only will work if you create the records from the parent entity and thus you might not be seeing this behaviour when your creating the records directly as the ownerid is not copied over from previous screen .

    Hi,

    1) parental

    2) from parent record

    3) f i map ownerid from parent to my entity, there is no new record in POA. If i don't map the ownerid, there is a new record insert in POA, and i understand why these difference ?
