Is there a way to bulk receive a bunch of Purchase Orders?

A small company does not have a large procurement dept, and therefore allows all their staff to create their own purchase orders.  unfortunately, all those users also have to perform their own product receipt, which drives up licensing.

Is there a menu in Procurement I am missing which allows for bulk product receipt of a lot of purchase orders?

I have the same question (0)

    Hello Oceanfish26,

Product receipts cannot be imported in D365.

You can import purchase order header and purchase order lines.

    Hi Oceanfish26,

The post product receipt form allows user to post multiple product receipts. The path is Procurement and sourcing > Purchase orders > Receiving products > post Product receipt

    Hi,

You can use post product receipt option in procurement and scouring which allows you to  post product receipts for multiple purchase orders.

Now questions comes how can you select PO's, for that you prepares list of purchase orders in excel and then select PO's on post product receipt screen and filter all the PO's by directly copy and paste using "Matches" Option.

    Hi MATTGUO ,

I am trying to do this as well but unfortunately this process needs a Product receipt. And if we want to run it via batch job how we can enter that part? Is there a way to just disable the product receipt requirement for posting on this process?

    Thanks!

    Hi cream9914

Yes, you can do product receipts in batch by running periodical task "Post product receipt" from procurement and sourcing module.

You can define your criteria and run it in batch. Once it's done, the system will post all product receipts.

Please let us know if this helps.

    Hi Gaurangkumar Jani ,

Yes that is where I am trying to do it but it errors out looking for the value for product receipt number. Which will then we need to enter one by one.

I am trying to find a way to go around that so we can run the batch with reoccurance on a regular basis.
