    Hello Mohamed Amir,

What inventory costing method do you use? (FIFO, LIFO, weighted average, etc.)

Why is it that you want to change the price?

Is this something that is requested by your auditors?

In general you can make changes to the prices and values in the inventory closing and adjustment form in the inventory module.

Have you tried and tested this already?

    Best regards,

    Ludwig

    Helloo Mr. Ludwig;

We are using weighted average costing method.

We have some old items in our inventory and market price for these items is changed, that's reason we want to change their prices and its also requested by our auditors.

Have you tried and tested this already?

No we didn't try this before...

    Thanks and Best Regards...

    Hello Mohamed Amir,

If you have not done this before, try the following in a demo/test environment first.

    1. Run an inventory close for the period

    2. Click on adjustment-on hand

    3. Select the item or items that you want to adjust

    4. You can now edit the item cost, value or quantity as required in the edit now field

    5. Click post

    Best regards,
