Hello - This isn't entirely a CRM question, but closely related. I am wondering how people go about matching accounts and matching contacts to accounts. The issue I am finding is that while contacts have emails for matching, accounts don't necessarily have a unique field... Names are always spelled differently and so are websites... sometimes starting with http, https, www, or none of the above.
So, I am wondering what practices people follow to try and match accounts before uploading data.

Do you mean how to match accounts exactly when importing data?
For the lookup fields in the imported data, if there are duplicate records in the environment, or you are not sure of the exact name, then you can use the GUID to import the data.
