Scribe - issue with import into customer address entity

Hi,

I created an import with an update/insert step for the customeraddress entity in Scribe.

But unfortunately the import fails with the error message "account with id xxx does not exist".

But actually I do not import addresses for the account, but for the contact entity.

I have defined a dblookup for the field "parentid", which returns the contactid of the relevant contact. And I defined "2" as value for the parentidtypecode, which should tell that the parentid relates to contact and not account (1).

Any ideas, if I am probably missing something?

thx Thomas

    Hello Thomas,

Try to populate ObjectTypeCode with 2 value or "contact" value - I'm not sure what exact value should be passed.

    Hi,

thx for your feedback. I'll try tomorrow and let you know.

For the owneridtypecode it worked with entity number, so it is strange it doesn't work for the parentidtypecode.

Actually the field parentidtypecode is of data type integer in Scribe, so adding "contact" wouldn't be an Option and "2" was the correct selection to refer to contacts.

What was missing was to set the objecttypecode field to value 2 as well.

    Now the Import works.

    thx Thomas

Actually this is what I suggested in my reply. Glad that you resolved your issue.

ups sorry, that was exactly what you wrote. I should have read your answer more carefully ;) I somehow read parentidtypecode instead ;)

    so thx a lot :)
