I've successfully installed dozens of web client implementations. I recently decided to install Tenant Services on a fresh machine. All seemed to go well until I ran into this annoying problem.
What I WANT to do is add a security group so that I could manage Tenant Users through just the security group. The documentation says it is possible:
I tried multiple ways including FQDN for the group, but no joy. Just more tissues for this issue.
I would settle (boohoohoo) for adding users one at a time, but I could only do so successfully if I checked the Admin box (I don't want the user to be an Admin).
I can login as Domain Admin no problem, so the setup is correct. I just can't seem to get a normal user account to work with tenant services. I verified user is set up correctly in GP and is a member of the the WebClientUsers group used during setup. The security group I want to use is also a member of the WebClientUsers group.
Suggestions?

I have the same question (0)Ha! I was using user@CryBabyDomain.com format. Instructions say it should be fine. I used CryBabyDomain\User format instead and it worked!
No more tissues for this issue! :)
