Understanding Ribbon Workbench

CRM2016 On Premises

Now I have the time to learn .. I'm looking to put a button on a custom entity grid view, to call an action. Rather than just ask and learn nothing, I've been trying to work each bit out myself. I can put a button on the view .. no problem, but what I really would like to do is only show the button when  records are selected in the view. I thought the button should be on the subgrid, but to be fair , I haven't a clue . I've removed my button so it docent shadow the issue.

    Hi ,

Although I am not very clear about your questions .

If you want to show hide button based on record select or not in that case you need to implement enable rule for that.

In the enable rule fire a javascript method and check record has been selected or not.
