Which Role to Assign to F&O Developers for CRUD on Virtual Tables (without F&O access)

Hi everyone,

I've just exposed some F&O virtual tables in Dataverse. Everything is working perfectly, but I’m wondering what role I should assign to my F&O developers so they can perform full CRUD operations on these virtual tables.

However, I’d prefer not to give them access to the F&O interface itself, as they won’t need it.

Also, would a Power Apps Premium license be enough for this scenario? I’d really like to avoid assigning them a full Finance license.

Assign Dataverse security roles like Environment Maker or System Customizer for CRUD access to virtual tables Ensure you don’t assign roles in F&O if developers don’t need access to the F&O interface. A Power Apps Premium license should be sufficient for your developers to access the virtual tables without needing a full Finance license.

Hi Ramesh,

first of all, thank you for your reply.

I tried to list all records on the entity CustCustomerV3 (mserp) (with a PA flow) but i have this message "You do not have permission to execute CustCustomerV3Entity retrieveMultiple. A Finance and Operations administrator must assign you to the correct role to perform this operation."

I have SR system customizer and no role on F&O for now.
