When opening a payment reconciliation journal associated with a bank account whose name is 22 characters long, I receive error message 'The length of the string is 22, but it must be less than or equal to 20 characters'.
Good one to log with Microsoft. You see silly things like this in other areas. For example a user name could be 30 characters but then certain tables only accept it being 20. Thankfully a lot of those problems are behind us but they crop up in discreet areas like this from time to time. Quick fix would be to alter the bank account no. to be less than 20 characters. Long fix is Microsoft responding and then adding it to a future release.
Thank you Josh. Yes, indeed. Feel free to raise it to Microsoft via your partner or CSP. Note that we do require it be reproducible in standard. If there are customization involved, please prepare these as objects to be imported in a standard database.
Thanks.

id the user needs characters as long as 30 like in our case we need the field value to be 100 in that case we could create a diffrent flow all together by feeding the data causing issues with a differnt value.Just a sugestion maybe cumbersome but based on the requirement.
