Anyone else seeing the following.
Using the standard CRM and not the addon Marketing. In the UCI create a new Marketing List as Dynamics for Contacts, Manage Members and add a simple filter criteria eg. First Name begins with A. All Contacts are returned in the Query Results and are added as members of the list. (If I go back to the classic interface and perform the same actions then the query results are filtering correctly)
Am also seeing the same issue in new Trial and an existing customer instance.
We are experiencing the same exact issue. Did you find a solution for this?
Is your trial and other environment in the same version?
If not maybe the bug has been fixed.
Anyway I feel like there is indeed an issue in the scenario you are describing, so the best option to address this is to open a support request https://admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support
Our Region is now Wave 2 (as of last weekend), we setup a fresh Trial yesterday - Monday, and in that one it works as expected. The instances that it does not work with existed pre Wave 2 update
We don't have any clients using Marketing Lists at the moment, but I was scheduled to do a Demo today where they wanted to see them (they have cancelled this demo for other reasons).
What I am seeing is in the following 2 screen shots (note: its not just First Name or Begins with)
Find results:
Pressing Use Query will then bring all Contacts onto the Marketing List
I've tried on version 9.1.0.9814 but could not reproduce the issue.
I created a dynamic Marketing List targeted at contacts, and could Manage Members and add contacts with a First Name starting with A.
What exactly is the issue you are seeing?

With the test you have already performed i.,e. new trials, other instance and because it is happening on multiple instances. I believe this is some bug intriduced recently.
It is worth to create a support case with Microsoft to get this fixed. admin.powerplatform.microsoft.com/support
