SalesTableReferences issue when adding a customized field relation

Hello,

I have added a new field XXXSubOrder to the table SalesTable which has relation to another SalesTable (i.e. SalesTable.XXXSubOrder==SalesTable.SalesId).
I have noticed that this is causing an issue for intercompany sales orders. Whenever I try to access the linked sales orders (General>Related orders), no record shows. However, it works perfectly fine when I delete the relation (i.e. SalesTable.XXXSubOrder==SalesTable.SalesId). Has anyone had such an issue before? What is the potential solution for this?
I have the same question (0)

    Hello,

Sorry I meant linked purchase orders.
I had added the field XXXSubOrder as in my scenario there are sales orders which are created from an original sales order through customization. Therefore I have added this field to have a reference towards the original sales order.
When adding a table relation using that particular field, the linked purchase order does not show up when opening the related orders form.
However, the linked purchase order shows up when I delete the table relation in SalesTable.

    Hi Jason,

If you have added relation between another table, then you need to add relation to that table instead of SalesTable. Why you are mentioning like SalesTable.XXXSubOrder==SalesTable.SalesId.
As Andre mentioned can you elaborate your functionality.

    Thanks,
    Girish S.

    Hi Jason,

I'm not able to understand what exactly you encounter as the issue. The related orders should show related IC purchase orders from the sales order form. Can you probably add some screenshots to illustrate the issue?
