Hi All,
In the classic Dynamics 365 "Sales Activity Social Dashboard" we had the "What's New" section that displayed the Posts related to all users as in the below screenshot:
Now as per the below links I got to know that the "What's New" section is not available in new UCI and we have to add the Timeline into the dashboard to see the posts.
But the issue is that I cannot see the posts related to all users in my organization. I can see only those posts that were added by me. Is this the Out-Of-The-Box feature? Or do we have any settings which I am missing? Or do we have any other alternative to see the posts related to all users in new UCI?
Thanks
In Unified Interface, the timeline displays contextual posts, for example for records that you follow, or posts on which you were tagged.
I'm not sure you can display all posts that were added to any record in the system in the timeline.
To achieve what you're looking for on opportunities & leads, I would created dedicated views (e.g.: Opportunity related to an "Opportunity Close" record that was "Closed On" today).
For "all posts", I suggest you submit an idea here: Dynamics 365 Customer Service Ideas
Hi Henry,
Thanks for your answer. As a System Admin I want to check which Opportunities were lost or won today and which Leads were created in the system today or any posts added on Opportunities by the users.
So I am looking for a way which can show me all these details at a single place when I log in into the system. Is there any alternative way for this? Please suggest
Hi Inkey,
Despite the post table being organization-owned, users should actually only be able to see the posts for records they have read access to.
That being said, the dashboard timeline filters the posts to only display the ones that are relevant to the current user (e.g. a post on a record I follow).
Henry
Hi @Mobeen,
Thanks for your reply. But I have the System Administrator role. So I have full permissions on Post Entity.
Hi,
It seems that user only have permission to posts entity like "Basic" access level. Please help to verify the user should have deep or global access level. Please find the security roles and privileges information using below link:
