CRM Portal: Forgot Password button does not send mail

Hi,

When I push the "forgot password" button on the home page, I get a screen to supply an email.

When I do this, a message is shown to verify my mailbox.

But no mail is ever sent.

In the action I already change for the Email the "From" , to a queue from which we can send mails.

However still no mails. I don't find any trace of a mail created, and I don't see anything in the Plugin Trace Log.

Anyone a suggestion what I still could try to solve this?

    did you add following site settings.

    Related Site Settings: Authentication/Registration/ResetPasswordEnabled

    Authentication/Registration/ResetPasswordRequiresConfirmedEmail

    it turned out my settings were all correct.

    But for testing purposes we changed email addresses to avoid them to go to real users.

    As it is not allowed to have same email for different portal users, it didn't work.

    As soon as we made all emails different, the reset worked.
