Remove active Customizations from default solution

Posted on by 5

Hi all,

I am having issue on CRM text message functionality with ClickDimension.

Contacted CD support and was advised try to remove active solution layer (non CD solution) from their text message entity.

only concern is that as this solution layer is from default solution, just curious if we "remove active customization", is it going to remove customisation from this specific entity or will it remove all customisation from all entities on default solution?

Thank you in advance,

    Hi Pelele,

It is going to remove customisation from this specific entity.

Unmanaged customizations reside at the top layer for a component and subsequently define the runtime behavior of the component

    https://learn.microsoft.com/en-us/power-apps/maker/data-platform/solution-layers#remove-an-unmanaged-layer

One entity is one component, when you check solution layers of the specific entity, you just can remove active layer of the specific entity.
