Hi

The create deployable package task has default variables, but the defaults are set for a hosted agent environment, not the build VM.

You can absolutely use this task on the build VM and its build definition but you will have to review and adjust the default inputs.

The pipeline did not find anything to add to a package.

Most likely either:

Nothing built in your build step. Could be a problem with your get sources.

Pipeline variables are incorrect and the build and deploy steps are using different locations
