Field reference in NAVISION

Posted on by 181

Hello everyone,

Any way to find where a field is used in NAVISION ?, similar to how we use Get References in VS Code.

Thanks for your valuable time.

    Hi Raviraj,

You can use GDT for this, it comes with a "Where Used" tab where you can find out references for a field. - http://www.crocodilebytes.com/

You would have to export the search space objects as text from NAV or connect the GDT to the NAV Environment.

    Hello,

    Maybe this helps already:

    docs.microsoft.com/.../getting-started

You can also export objects from Dynamics NAV Development environment and then load them in Visual Studio Code.

    Thank you.
