Can't modify the vendor using file import GP2013 R2

Hi,

I am trying to use the tool for mass modify the vendors under utilities > Purchasing > vendor combine /modifier, it works one to one but when I validate the file it gave me this error for all existing vendors do you know why is that The Source vendor ID already exists.

I am not sure. I would expect "Destination" vendor already exists, not source.

If you are trying to MODIFY, then the Source vendor ID should exist, but the Destination should not; if you are combining then both should already exist.

Hi RSOLIMAN,

Have you read thru the PSTL manual ? the Vendor combiner/modifier tool was originally part of the PSTL library and there are various ways of doing changes.. I'd read thru the chapter topic to make sure my input file looks correct.
