Item group do not show the category hierarchy created

Hi,

I have a category hierarchy created.

I go to one of Released Product but when i select the item group -the catgeory hiearchy node dont show

What is the step that is been missed.

How can I solve this issue

    Hello NDingankar22,

    Item Groups and Product Category (from a Category Hierarchy) are different constructs.  Item Group is a mandatory field and serves as a logical grouping often used to post transactions to GL accounts.

    Product Categories (from a Category Hierarchy) is not mandatory. It is used to categorize items in a structured way.  In Procurement, teh Product Category also serves to build a procurement catalog.

    To link an item to a Product Category, you use this menu item:
