We are trying to setup emails for Customers Statements.
In our though process we assumed doing setups for the /Report Selection - Sales/: Customer Statement, that this email body should be the default for all customers when there is no document layout assigned to the customer and that the Customer E-mail address would be used.
Our first error message was the email address is not found in the document layout:
The target email address has not been specified on the document layout for Customer: ****, Customer Statement. //Choose the Document Layouts action on the customer or vendor card to specify the email address.
Question: Why do we need the Document layout setup just for an email address, when the email address that we want to use the exact same as the email on Customer card?
We added the email to all the Document layouts for all the customers.
Our Second issue was the Email body not being retrieved by default from Report selection Sales - Customer Statement. So we opted to add all the Email bodies to all customers on Document layouts.
