Hi Gang

We are trying to setup BACS files to generate and move toa  folder in Sharepoint. (other destinations could be used) however I have configred Documents and parameteres to point to sharepoint etc but have missed something in this setup to select the specific folder.

Could anybody share a guide or page that shows the best way to set this up?

    Hey,

How do you generate these files, with ER?

    Kind regards, Adis

Sorry yes, through ER and will generate using that. #
Hopefully its simple enough to generate the file, use that to go to a file destination, that in turn will trigger automation to go to the bank and then Archive the file. Haven't set this up since 2012 properly.

    Hey,

Have you check out MS Learn how to use print destinations? There you can set up to be "printed" on a sharepoint site. As far as I understood you already have the ER configuration ready?

I would check out MS Learn.

In case you have already, then it would be good to know at which step you are struggeling.

    Kind regards, Adis

Thanks for the reply, I have followed the guides and set this up however, unable to actually select a Sharepoint destination or folder what part have i missed.

From Doc types i cannot select the folder full address. (this is setup in parameteres to a sharepoint site and test connection is good.

    Hey,

I am not sure where exactly you are stuck.

From your screenshot, I see you have navigated to the same page page\side pane as in my screenshot. It seems you havent selected any title OR I could image that the sharepoint folders have a special permission, so that D365FO isnt allowed to see the folders.

Nevertheless, I selected D365StagingFiles and the folders popped up on the right side, so I could navigate to the folder I wanted, select it and confirm with Ok.

Could you describe\show more in detail where are you stuck when doing the same as I did?

    Kind regards, Adis

    Update -

Set the destination to Archive and selected that as a folder location attached to share point.

The solution however was that there must have been access issues as a colleague of mine who apparently has same access was able to find the location and pin point share point to that folder.

    Problem solved.

    Kind Regards
    Martin.
