Voucher number xxxx is already used on 31/3/2019

Hi Experts,

we are trying to post foriegn currency transaction in GL module.when i am getting the this error voucher number xxxx is already used on 31/03/2019.

Can anyone please help me i resolving the issue.

    Hi subashini,

    Can you check in your GL parameters whether the number sequence used for foreign currency revaluations is used elswhere?

    In addition, can you check the structure of the number sequence and whether this structure is unique, i.e. that your ordinary vouchers that you record e.g. in GL journals do not have the same structure?

    An easy workaround would be adding a fixed segment such as "FXREV" into the number sequence.

    This is a unique string that is not used elsewhere and should allow you posting.

    We have given the FXRVQ number sequence only and we do not have the same series any where else.

    Is FXRVQ the ID of the number sequence?

    How does the structure of the number sequence look like?

    That is, what can you see in the segments section?

    Are those segments identical to those used for other number sequences?
