Console.WriteLine CRM 2013 Online

Hi guys,

I have seen a lot of code examples that use the "Console.WriteLine" to keep a track or history of the code; how you can see that results?

I have a plugin but the only way that I can use to see a message or similar is using the "InvalidPluginExecutionException"

Thanks,

Raul

Console.WriteLine is really only going to be effective when using CRM code in conjunction with a console based application that you would run from the command prompt where you could actually see the output. You can using tracing to gather extra data but to surface it to the UI you would either need to log it to another CRM record or use the InvalidPluginExecutionException

As far i Know you can't send message to the web with Console.WriteLine from plugin, you can only do it from a console application, you can do it as you said with InvalidPluginExecutionException.
