We are using landing pages for creating new contacts and subscription center for managing already subscribed contacts.
However, when we send an email with a link to the subscription center marketing page to a contact ALREADY REGISTERED in CRM, there are two possible outcomes:
- If the contact was registered from a marketing landing page everything works. The contact can manage their subscription center as usually.
- If the contact was registered in CRM directly, without submitting any marketing form, then the subscription center fails, and show us with this message:
We cannot verify your contact information. Make sure cookies are not blocked or use the unsubscribe link in your email.
Is this a bug or we are missing something?
Can we use subscription centers for contacts created without any marketing form submission?
