Hello,

Is there a way to change the base currency on the system?

I need to go from USD to EUR.

Hi Jason,

The organizations base currency can only be set when the organization is created, but you can change the default currency for your users so they're all using EUR.

So what can I do if I wanted the orgainization to have a different basse currency?

CRM is not in production and we are at very early stages of customizing it.

Can I set up again the organization even if all data is lost?

Hi Jason,

You could set up a new CRM Organization with EUR as the base currency, and you can keep your customizations by adding them to a solution, exporting it as unmanaged, and importing it to your new org. We would lose any records you created, but if you're still in the early stages that doesn't sound so bad (and it will only get harder as you have more data).

Hello Aiden,

Trying to find where to create a new organization in CRM Online and I came across with a blog post describing that new organizations cannot be created on CRM Online. This can be done only on CRM On prem.

Any ideas?

Hi Jason,

That's just semantics; you can 'provision a new instance' in CRM Online. You can set it up with the info below than blow away type old instance.

You can reset the default currency. All you have to do is go back to 365 Admin page, select the instance and hit reset. Leave every other settings as it and change default currency to EUR.
