Mobile App performance

Hi All,

We have two different clients where one is still on CRM 2016 Online Update 1 (8.1) and other has upgraded environment to Dynamics 365 (8.2). 

Client on ver 8.2 has complained that there is a lag when the user is using Dynamics 365 for phones app. When the user is on entity record and swipes to move to next tab of the record, there is a noticeable lag of close to 1-2 seconds.

We downloaded the app from AppStore on iOS device and tried on both 8.1 and 8.2.  There is no lag in 8.1 but 8.2. There is no javascript or customizations on both organisations. The geolocation for both organisations is the same datacenter.

Anyone else has seen the similar behaviour?

    We are finding exactly the same issue - since going to Dynamics 365 (Online) the mobile app is extremely laggy.  We have also seen this on several customer instances.

    Does anyone have any suggestions here?

    hi, we are facing the same problem. When using dynamics 365 online server + dynamics 365 app, We find that the loading page and tab slide are every slow.

    I want know, have you ever try to use dynamics 2016 server + app before?  Is`t also slow?

    It looks like Microsoft has fixed the issue. It is working fine now.

    Hi Jack,

    Yes our Dynamics 365 instance is now at Version 1612 (8.2.1.207) and the app is working perfectly.

    I was On-Premises, so i can only update to the version of 8.2.1.0176.

    How can i update to the latest version?

    Will Microsoft release a Updates for On-Premises.

    How long will Microsoft release the updates for On-Premieses after release the Online version?

    Hi All,

    Has this Tablet issue been got resolved for everyone or is there anyone who are still facing performance issues even with latest CRM online update ?

    We are getting this performance issues quite frequently, which is making Mobile app almost unusable.

    please let us know raising ticket with Microsoft will help , has it helped anyone in the past for Tablet app.

    (Note-: We are using mobile app of Windows 10 tablet)
