Data Entity has no data while default table has data

Hi
I'm currently working of D365 FO and created an Entity from a default table suing Data Entity Wizard. I build it and synchronized the database. However, Data Entity shows no data while the default table has data in it.

What could be the possible cause and how to troubleshoot it?

I have the same question (0)

    Hi Roohan,

Expand the DataSource node of the table you have created data entity for. See whether records exist in the related datasource which was added automatically from the table relations.

Also, how you are verifying that entity has no data?

    Thanks,

    Girish S.

    Yes. Records exist

I check my executing a query for Default Table and then for my Data Entry in SQL Server

Data entity is mainly used for importing and exporting data through excel using DMF or open in excel functionality, OData and other integration scenarios.

So, use the DMF to check whether the record exist for the entity you created.

    Thanks,

Hi Roohan, If your table has data and Data entity is not displaying records in Sql server then there might be issue in data entity. Have you set any range on the data entity or Datasources. Does your data entity have multiple datasources.

My data entity has only ONE source.

I tried deleting the artifact, I tried creating new entity. No luck

Can you show us the relations what you have added?

No data means, check the entity in SSMS by firing an SQL query. If it is not showing then see the properties of the datasource. Check the ranges.

Also please send the properties and how the datasource is added.
