Packing slip button is not getting enabled

Hi All,

PO lines are created for Procurement Category. Purchase order type is Purchase order and PO status is confirmed status. but, Packing slip button is not getting enabled for particular line.

Can you please anybody give me your suggestion for enabling the packing slip button.

    Hi, there could be several reasons that the button is greyed out and you are not able to post a packing slip/product receipt. This could be security related, it also could be caused by workflow (for example, if the order is still pending approval), if there are no open quantities on the line, etc. Do you have any screenshots of the PO and PO header that include what cannot be posted? Or does this occur for all orders/ all users?

    Hi Abila,

    In Microsoft Dynamics AX 2012 (Accounts payable or Procurement and sourcing module -> Purchase orders -> All purchase orders) Packing slip is called as Product receipt. Packing slip name remains the same in Sales order process. To post Product receipt go to Purchase order form—> select Receive tab in Action pane—> select Product receipt icon.

    Packing slip button is getting enabled for other purchase order. I want to know the reason and Please give your suggestion for enabling the button.

    As per my understanding you not tick the packing slip  check box in AP parameters under cycles tab
