Permission Issues

Hi Team

My team members get the following error when trying to 'reshedule' a social media post.

"U hebt geen prvAppendTomsdyncrm_socialpostingconfigurationmachtiging voor toegang tot msdyncrm_socialpostingconfigurationrecords."
Freely translated:
"U don't have prvAppendTomsdyncrm_socialpostingconfigurationpermission to access msdyncrm_socialpostingconfigurationrecords."
I can't find where this goes wrong.
Any ideas?

    Hi,

According to the name of the entity in the error message, we can find the entity. It is “Social media account”.

Please check the privilege of the user’s security role.

    1. Go to Advanced Settings > Settings > Security > Users. Tick the user who logs in and click the “MANAGE ROLES” button. You’ll get the security role of the user.

    1. Go to Advanced Settings > Settings > Security > Security Roles. Find the corresponding Role. Grant Access privilege to this role for the "Social media account" entity.

Please refer to the following documentation for the specific level and scope of privileges.

After saving it, the user can get the access to the entity.

If this helped you, I'd appreciate it if you'd mark this as a Verified Answer, which may in turn help others as well.

    Best Regards,

It worked! Thank you. The only question remains: how did that 'out of the box' entity end up being configured like that? Anyway, it's solved.

    Hi,

It' s great to hear that the problem has been solved.

Only the System Administrator is granted all permissions for all entities, other Security Roles are granted depending on the actual requirements.

    Best Regards,

    Nya
