I am currently struggling to create a function for a module where a window should open when a field is changed and the user can enter something that will later be written in the comments.
Returning the value in the comments seems to be the easiest thing to do, but where can I get this stupid text box from? I haven't found anything about it anywhere. Can anyone help me here?

Hi, here is a similar example in BC, I use an action to trigger, you can also move it to the OnModify Trigger.

Here is a list of page types you can use.
I would probably use a page with the pagetype of confirm dialog.
The easiest way is to simply launch a new page with an input field. You can size it so it looks like an input dialog.
That gives you good control of the behavior for your dialog.
