Hi Community,

I have tried to "POST and PATCH" in the "Inventory" Field in "Item Page" through "POSTMAN" ,but it is giving me error of read-only for the "Inventory" Field and I have to "POST" Inventory field through "POSTMAN".

and we have the "Adjust Inventory" page but the table "Location" is temporary.

Just Guide me through how can I do "POST" Inventory in "Item" Page. through Web Service API.

Hi, The Inventory field on the Item is still a Flowfield, not a real field, and you cannot write directly to the inventory in Business Central.

It is recommended that you post in the inventory in Item Journals, same in the APIs and Webservice.
