We have GP 2013. and MR 2012. The individuals who installed it are no longer here, but we can see that the console and services have only been installed on one node. Last night we failed over to the other node, and now nobody can use Management Reporter. Does anyone know why Management reporter would have been installed on one node. GP is installed on both. It defeats the purpose of a cluster, to not be able to have all software on both nodes.
Can MR 2012 be installed in a Clustered Environment and be Cluster aware?

I have the same question (0)MR can be installed in a clustered environment but is not cluster aware. The issue is that the two MR services can only point to and sync one set of databases (ManagementReporter & ManagementReporterDM)
What can be done is to setup the clustering for the databases.
- Backup the SQL Master key from the primary SQL System and restore to the secondary SQL System.
Install the two MR services on a separate system and point them at the main cluster name.
