I'm following this link: Upgrade Application Code - Business Central | Microsoft Learn and How to: Import Objects - Business Central | Microsoft Learn. Currently pending on exporting application object from database to a file.

I'm trying to open the Object Designer in Dynamics NAV Development Environment, but failed. The database seemed didn't connected. Below is the error when I try to connect to database.

    Regards,

Hi, is there a problem with the target version? If it is NAV, you must first upgrade to v14, which is the last version of BC that retains Object Designer.
    More details:

    Hope this helps.
    Thanks.

Business Central doesn't have the Development Environment anymore, nor the Object Designer.
Can You share which Guide You are following and which step causes the problem?
If you are referring to NAV database - then what is the problem? Do You get an error? is it grayed out, so You cannot select it? Make sure the database is opened and correct license is imported.
