Dynamics GP, MFA and Azure Graph

Posted on by 352
We just upgraded to Dynamics GP 18.6.1695 and can no longer send email remittances directly from GP.  This was working on GP 18.4, prior to the upgrade.  We have gone through the steps posted in Modern Authentication and upgrading to Microsoft Dynamics GP 18.5, deleting the Application (Client) ID from the Company E-mail Setup, closing and restarting GP, entering the Application (Client) ID in again and authenticating.  However, we now receive the attached error stating, "An error occurred authenticating with Azure Graph, check your configuration and try again."  Reviewing this in Azure, we can see the additional MSGraph permission called Mail.ReadWrite is delegated.  Has anyone run into this issue and have any thoughts on how to resolve?

Thanks,
Mark

Hi Mark, thanks for reaching out in the forums.

We can see this error from time to time, good catch on the blog you already went through as that is the right track.  I'm not sure if you saw this, but recently, we created a list of items to check that cause this exact error in GP.  I would review all of them and that usually indicates what the problem maybe in your system.  Below is a direct link to this in our guide.
