I am getting error message when i try to login on office 365 to create user.

1) When i click "new" to create new user in dynamics 365 then it asks me for "users and licensing" button and i click this button then  it redirects me to the sales default dashboard.

2) but when i go directly to this link "https://portal.office.com/adminportal/home"., this page shows me following message.

You don’t have permission to access this page or perform this action.

3) But i can go into "my account" and check details then it says to me following:

Become the admin for your organization. As the admin, you’ll control and manage how everyone in your organization uses Office 365

Permissions

You can't revoke permission because this has been assigned to you as part of a subscription or an admin role.

I am using trial version of dynamics 365.

Can anyone please let me know what to do now please?

    Even I am facing the same sort of discrepancies . I have contacted the technical support and they have suggested

    me to follow these instructions office 365 login. Suggest me if anything more I need to do.

    Zaub, were you able to get this working? Simply you need to first subscribe at portal.office.com and then get required licenses to login at Dynamics 365. It should work seamlessly. let me know if still facing issue.

    Hi all i am going to subscribe new user for dynamics 365 please can you please guide me how to do it properly so that i can get all all required subscription including office 365 to learn more.  i am going to subscribe trial version.

    I think i must contact support. might be i made some mistake when i subscribed with trial version . now my trial version is going to expire soon.

    how would i know that i am subscribed or not with same email address for dynamics 365 and office 365 ?

    in dynamics for my user i checked security roles for my users and there is no role i can see for global system admin or global admin BUT there are system admin, customizer and other roles but not global admin or global system admin.

    I tried to login in internet explorer in private mode and tried to login with same email address at portal.office.com directly without login in opening Dynamics 365. after login it redirects me to the dynamics 365 portal to my default sales dashboard.

    I tried to login in internet explorer in private mode and tried to login at portal.office.com directly without opening Dynamics 365. after login it redirects me to the dynamics 365 portal to my default sales dashboard.

    Did you already have an Office365 subscription that you added the Dynamics 365 trial to?

    When you create an Office365 subscription or trial, the first account created is a Global Admin account.

    Subscribing Dynamics 365 automatically gives access to portal.office.com because user management and subscriptions for Dynamics 365 can only managed through portal.office.com. If you are very much sure that you used only one email id to login at Dynamics and Office 365 and it dsnt have admin privileges at portal.office.com, you should contact support. They will help in resolving this issue.

    This seems a very unusual scenario.

    Another thing you can try, open internet explorer in private mode and try to login at portal.office.com directly without opening Dynamics 365. See if you are able to see the Admin menu for managing users and subscriptions.

    and one thing i noticed that when i go to URL "portal.office.com/" directly then it redirects me to my dynamics 365 organization home page.

    Does it mean now i can not do any thing in office 365, because i am only one who subscribed dynamics 365 trial version ?

    when i created dynamics 365 trial version i was not admin at that time and i was not having all privileges then after login into dynamics 365 i went to my account and i selected my account and then i clicked "promote to admin" for my user then i got all admin privileges for admin in dynamics 365.
