how to add a check box in form

i am adding the check box to calculating the net amount in the purchase order line level.

my requirement is 

case1: i want to add the total excise amount to net amount before calculating the discount 

case2: i want to add the total excise amount after calculating the discount in the Purchase order line details.

In this requirement i am adding one check box in the form before the discount amount.

i want to write a code to check and un check the checkbox in the form.

    How you want this check box to behave. you didn't elaborate on this.

    hai ali,

    actually my company have some requirement with the purchase order some vendors are given the discount include excise tax with net amount and some vendors given the discount without excise tax, i want to add one check box in the purchase order line level and user click the check box the excise tax amount is added to the net amount and after they are given the discounts

    if you know how to add this check box and how to add the perform the above logic.

    Please help me.

    Hi Srini,

    This checkbox field must be added in purchline table and must write code in modifiedfield method which update excise tax to net amount as per check/uncheck. So, go with it, it will definitely work.

    Hi Srini,

    You just drag NoYesId from BaseEnums to your table field node.

    rename the field name as per your requirement.

    follow best practise as well.

    case fieldnum(purchline, YourNewAddedField):  if(it is checked){ code.......}

    i am understand the writing the logic is it is check bos it is ok,

    but i don't know how to add the excise amount to net amount,

    suppose excise has different types of tax codes,

    how to add these different types of tax codes and how to add the all tax codes in to netAmount.
